Arrival to ports
Our ports are working environments with strict access requirements — but that doesn’t mean arriving should feel complicated. Once your visit is confirmed, your Olmar contact will arrange access credentials and walk you through the process. Bring a valid ID, wear the right PPE, and we’ll take care of the rest. Below you’ll find location-specific directions, gate procedures, and everything you need to arrive prepared.

Arrival at the port area
- Contact your WEPORT Pori host in advance to arrange your visit. They will issue your access pass.
- Enter via Port of Pori main gate at Mäntyluoto. Visitors to the gate building do not need a pass, but you must identify yourself.
- Present valid ID – driving license, passport, or transport documents (waybill) are accepted.
- Follow the marked route from the main gate to the incoming goods parking area. Your host will meet you or provide further directions.
- Safety gear required in the port area: high-visibility vest and safety shoes at minimum. Hard hat in operational zones.
Parking
Visitor parking is available at the gate building and the incoming goods parking area. Follow signage upon arrival.

Before you visit
Port access & safety
All WEPORT port locations are restricted-access areas under the ISPS Code. Here’s what you need to know before arriving.
Pre-arrange your visit
All visits must be coordinated with your WEPORT contact in advance. No unannounced port area access.
Bring valid ID
Passport, driving licence, or other photo ID. Truck drivers: waybill or transport documents also accepted.
Wear safety gear
High-visibility vest and safety shoes are mandatory. Hard hat required in operational zones. We can provide gear if needed.
Safety Induction
First-time visitors receive a safety briefing. Returning visitors should be familiar with the port’s safety rules.
